1. About Zapplyr (The Platform Entity)

Zapplyr is an experimental AI research platform operated by Zapplyr Research.

Zapplyr Research is the entity responsible for this platform. All liability, claims, and disputes must be directed at Zapplyr Research, not individuals. By using this service, you agree that:

• You are contracting with Zapplyr Research, not any individual
• All liability waivers and disclaimers apply to Zapplyr Research exclusively
• You waive any right to pursue claims against individuals associated with Zapplyr Research
• Any legal action must be brought against Zapplyr Research under Cayman Islands law

2. What Zapplyr Is (and Isn't)

Zapplyr is an experimental AI toy for research and educational purposes only—NOT a professional service.

This is a hobby/experimental project using AI to generate resume suggestions. We make no claims about quality, accuracy, or usefulness.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Zapplyr and able to enter into a binding contract.

4. Your Account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you submit.
• Keep your credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized access.
• We may suspend accounts for violations of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse Zapplyr or attempt to access systems without authorization.
• Do not upload harmful content, malware, or infringing material.
• Respect third-party platform rules where applications are submitted.

6. AI-Generated Outputs (Experimental)

All outputs from Zapplyr are experimental, unverified, and may be inaccurate or harmful.

AI outputs ARE NOT professional advice and may contain:

• Hallucinations and fabricated information
• Inaccurate or misleading suggestions
• Inappropriate or harmful recommendations
• Content that damages your job prospects
• Plagiarized or copyrighted material

YOU are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and editing all content. Do not use any output without thorough vetting. We provide NO WARRANTY that outputs are suitable for any purpose.

Zapplyr assumes ZERO liability for consequences of using AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual Property

• Zapplyr retains all rights in the platform, software, and branding.
• You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to operate the service.

We may integrate or link to third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

9. Experimental Nature & Complete Disclaimer

Zapplyr may:

• Crash, fail, or become unavailable without notice
• Be deleted or discontinued at any time
• Lose all user data permanently
• Change radically or stop working
• Suffer security breaches or data leaks

We do NOT guarantee any job interviews, offers, employment, or any other outcome. You use this toy entirely at your own risk.

10. Termination

You can stop using Zapplyr at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

11. Complete Zero Liability (Cayman Islands Law)

Under Cayman Islands law, Zapplyr has ZERO LIABILITY for ANYTHING whatsoever.

Zapplyr is not liable for any damages, including:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Lost profits, lost data, lost revenue, or lost opportunities
• Content accuracy or inaccuracy
• AI hallucinations or errors
• Data breaches, leaks, or unauthorized access
• Identity theft or fraud
• Service interruptions, crashes, or unavailability
• Third-party actions or integrations
• Device damage or malfunction
• Job application failures, rejections, or any employment outcome
• Reputation damage or career consequences
• Any other loss, damage, or harm of any kind

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY = ZERO DOLLARS UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.

You CANNOT sue Zapplyr for any reason. You waive all rights to pursue claims.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Zapplyr harmless from claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law: Cayman Islands

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Cayman Islands.

By using Zapplyr, you irrevocably:

• Consent to Cayman Islands law governing all matters
• Agree to exclusive jurisdiction of Cayman Islands courts
• Waive any right to sue in your home country
• Accept that Cayman Islands law permits complete liability exclusion

Any dispute related to Zapplyr must be resolved in Cayman Islands courts under Cayman Islands law. Zapplyr is not subject to the laws of your home country or location.

Why Cayman Islands? Cayman Islands law explicitly allows companies to exclude all liability in contracts. This jurisdiction provides maximum protection for experimental software.

13A. Geographic Restrictions & Non-Availability

Zapplyr is NOT available to users in the following jurisdictions:

• European Union and United Kingdom (GDPR)
• California (CCPA)
• Australia (Australian Consumer Law)
• Canada (PIPEDA)

If you are located in any of these jurisdictions, you are prohibited from using Zapplyr. Accessing this service from these regions is a violation of these Terms.

If you use Zapplyr despite this restriction:

• You voluntarily accept all risks and waive all protections
• You consent to Cayman Islands law and courts exclusively
• You acknowledge you cannot pursue claims under your home country laws
• You indemnify Zapplyr for violating this geographic restriction
• Your home country's consumer protections do NOT apply

14. Assumption of Risk

By using Zapplyr, you acknowledge and accept:

• You assume 100% responsibility for all outcomes
• You accept all consequences of your decisions
• AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or damaging
• Your data may be exposed, leaked, or stolen despite our efforts
• The service may fail, disappear, or become unavailable
• You may lose all your data without recovery
• Zapplyr takes ZERO responsibility for ANY consequences

You voluntarily assume all risk by clicking "Accept" or using Zapplyr. There is no middle ground.

15. Research & Experimental Purpose Only

Zapplyr is explicitly designed for research and experimental purposes only.

This platform should NOT be used:

• As a substitute for professional career advice
• As a professional resume writing service
• For high-stakes job applications
• For legal, compliance, or regulatory matters
• In any situation where accuracy is critical

16. Complete User Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zapplyr and its operators from ANY claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of AI-generated content
• Your submission of data or applications
• Any job-related consequences
• Any other claim whatsoever

You agree to defend Zapplyr in any lawsuit at your own expense.
